Relique is a unique vintage decorative accessories webshop full of relics from the Industrial Age and equally cool repurposed creations, all at competitive prices for the market.
What is noteworthy about Relique is that most of the pieces in the collection once had utilitarian purposes and are reinterpreted as art objects in the modern day. Many of these finds are rescued from decaying buildings or estate sales by people who appreciate the interesting texture that historical objects bring to a space. For example, vintage scientific classroom posters, sinister-looking bird cages, and blunted chunks of exterior facades make up just a few of the fascinating offerings from this user-friendly store.

Store History
At Relique, we bring you vintage and repurposed interior accents that are unique, interesting, classic, artistic and have personality. We shop all over the world for pieces that speak to us, pieces that we would put in our own homes. Much of our inspiration comes from the appreciation of Industrial Age design and maintaining that aesthetic for future generations. Relique represents a cross-section of then and now. Salvaged architectural elements and factory cast-offs as well as designs from artisans who have taken these elements and given them a new purpose. Our interiors have history, texture and soul. Many of our Relique finds are one-of-a-kind treasures that have become art objects - rescued from a building scheduled for demolition or found in the dark corners of an estate sale. Otherwise forgotten or ignored pieces of our history now have new life as display pieces and bring with them a greater appreciation of the past to our generation. Visit us often to see our ever-changing assortment of interior accents and vintage industrial furniture. We know you will see something that speaks to you.

Nomade Express Slee...
It's interesting how much the bird trap looks like traps for marine crustaceans.
Great website, great stuff. "Competitive prices," though? Yike$.
I think the "relative" price is supposed to be compared to high end design antique stores, not whatever stuff you find on ebay or garage sales. ;)
Nice collection of inspirational pieces. If you don't want to pay their prices, you can probably just use it as a nice idea list and start searching garage sales and junk yards yourself. :) Some of the pieces could also be recreated if you're the crafty sort.
Also, I thought the bird trap was a marine trap as well!
i'm day dreaming of that bird trap now, filling it with mosses and succulents. also lovin' that german education poster.
I love this website, but it is a little too expensive for me. Kaete has a great idea though, I'll be taking notes!
@Jerid, That sounds pretty, and something similar could be done with a bird cage if no bird trap were available.
