If you like to consume but still like to be green, Amazon has launched a new site aimed toward all things eco-friendly. At Vine.com, shoppers have their pick of thousands of green products, from organic cleaners to sustainable decor.
The site features entire boutiques devoted to Local, Fair Trade, Cruelty-Free, B Corporation and Forest Stewardship Council-certified products, as well as a Shop Local section that offers products made within 100 miles of your chosen city.
Vine.com doesn't simply include products that claim to be natural on their labels. They screen all their vendors to ensure the products meet a specific guideline of green standards, and that the ingredients used do not fall within Vine.com's Banned Ingredients List.
One could argue that the greenest way to shop is to shop at your neighborhood mom-and-pop, but for many people who prefer the convenience and selection of online shopping, Vine.com makes it easy to wade through the natural marketplace.
