    When buying a couch for your home, comfort is key although style and design also play key roles. A deep couch with a lot of seating room is super comfy – but not for everyone.I had a moment a few years ago when I realized that I can’t sit comfortably in deep couches. Standing a tall 5’4, I simply felt like Edith Ann, the character Lily Tomlin portrayed of the little girl sitting in a huge chair.

    While we were working with a client this week at their shop, we pretty much got locked in the bathroom. Yep, definitely a first! The doorknob came loose, wouldn’t catch the door release and 30 minutes and a non-emergency call to the fire department later, we now know some tips for handling this type of crazy situation.1) Try to stay calm.     In our small space, we use two zebra ottomans that double as coffee table and also extra seating when we need it. While we love the cushioned vibe of the ottomans to rest our feet, it’s not conducive for cocktails or glasses of any kind. We’ve picked up a few tips for turning an ottoman into a functioning table.Consider using a C side table in addition to your ottoman. Simple slide the C table under your ottoman to create a surface.

    Summer Weight Down Comforter Options
    Summer bedding can go across the board. Sheet only. Blanket only. Sheet and blanket. Summer weight comforter – maybe? For us, it’s the latter but we still are trying to figure which down-comforter is the most comfortable for us!?!Although there are so many comforter styles to choose from – down, wool, synthetic, organic, cotton, hypoallergenic – we are searching for a down comforter that works for two.
