Casting Call:  Do You Know Of A Community Space That Needs A Refresh?

We’re partnering with a major home brand to refresh a local community space — such as a recreational center, food pantry, senior center, etc. — that could benefit from a cosmetic makeover. We’re looking to complete simple but impactful updates that make a space feel brighter, more welcoming, and more functional for those who use it most.


We’re looking to help with updates such as: new lighting fixtures, light carpentry or repairs, retiling a small area, painting, or other small upgrades that can make a meaningful difference.

If you think a space in your community could be a good fit, please share this casting call with them to apply! For any organization that meets the below requirements, please fill out the questionnaire so we can learn a bit more about your needs by 5 p.m. ET on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Project Overview

You can expect the project to take around three weeks to complete:

  • 2 weeks for accepting packages/deliveries. 
  • 2–3 days for the contractors to complete projects
  • 2 days for the photo shoot, shot by professionals (12 hours each day) 
  • All contractors — including stylists and photographers — will be professionals
  • We will work with you to find a mutually convenient time to execute our projects; tentative timelines listed below

Tentative Project Timeline Overview

Casting Requirements

  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Organization/space cannot be a government building or school 
  • Organization/space must be located in a major metro area 
  • Organization/space will be responsible for clearing the featured areas of existing furniture and decor before the project begins and sending photos of the space while empty, which we may use in our content
  • Organization must be able to receive and store all packages for the makeover
  • Organization representative must be available for up to 12 hours on the shoot days and open the space to our professional crew
  • Must be willing to answer a few questions via email after the makeovers so we can quote you in our content
