Sad news for TGIF fans: The house that was featured in the opening credits of sitcom Family Matters will be demolished to make way for condos. DNAinfo reports that the city of Chicago approved a a demolition permit on Tuesday for 1516 W. Wrightwood Ave. in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. This comes after the owners got approval to demolish the detached garage back in April.

For 21 and over fans of the cult hit show, Stranger Things, Chicago-based Emporium Arcade Bar’s “end of summer” pop-up is the stuff Netflix (and chill?) dreams are made of. But the same cannot be said for Netflix. According to Variety, Netflix issued a cease-and-desist letter to the bar’s owners, albeit one that was worthy of a true Stranger Things enthusiast.
