Describe your space:
My current space came together as the result of downsizing apartments and needing to get creative with my furniture. I'm a designer/woodworker by trade, so I've managed to hack and make a lot of what's in there. Really I just think it's cool that I can show off my love for so many things without looking like a complete hoarder!
Did you DIY anything in your space? And, if so, what's your favorite DIY?
There's quite a few DIYs, like the wall/trim paint, light covers, and ceiling light swaps, but my favorite is the bike hanger. I built it in a couple hours after work one day. It was the finishing touch to the layout because the bike kept getting in my way everywhere else.
What's your favorite product that you bought for your space and where did it come from?
Rather than a new product, my favorite pieces tend to be the furniture I find at a steal. My Danish dining chairs and bar cart were found dirt cheap at thrift stores, while one Eames shell and my Pollock chair were found headed on their way to the trash.
What inspires you?
Craft, go-getters, knowledge, punks, skate rats, opinion.
