My studio is pretty tiny, so I had to get creative as someone who loves clothes and shoes and needs a lot of space, so I built an exterior closet to be able to store all of my clothes.
My kitchen is my second most favorite spot in my home. It is so light and bright and I have so much counter space and storage. I still have a ways to go with styling, but it's almost there!
Years lived in: Almost two years (October 13, 2022 will be two years), rented

Have any design professionals worked on this space? No
Do you currently live in your Small/Cool space full-time? Yes
Describe your space:
For this apartment, I wanted this space to feel like a pastel cloud. When I came home, I wanted to always feel light and happy! While it is very small, everything has its place, and there was intention by where everything went.
Did you DIY anything in your space? And, if so, what's your favorite DIY?
Yes! I did peel-and-stick marble for the kitchen counters, transformed the floors in the kitchen and bathroom with white peel-and-stick tile, I covered the rest of the apartment with a white rug that I custom cut to size. I created the exterior closet, and I DIYed the cloud mirror above my bed.
How do you make your small space work for you and feel bigger than it really is?
My exterior closet is the thing that I am most proud of. I have a lot of clothes and knew I couldn't fit a traditional dresser. I found a way to make my space feel bigger than it is by not being scared of the smallness of my space but embracing it. I feel like most people would have the mindset that less is more, but I think that understanding where the limit of excess is and being very conscious and methodical about the pieces I have chosen for my space make it feel bigger than it is.
How does your home reflect you?
It's fun, multifunctional, and free like me! Yes, all over my place you will see pastel vessels. They are handmade by me and bring me so much joy!
