Scottie Pippen and Chicago go together hand in hand. So it’s no wonder the basketball legend is opening the doors of his Chicago home for fans to watch this summer’s Olympic Games in luxury.

The six-time NBA champion, who has two Olympic gold medals himself, is offering lucky superfans the opportunity to live like a champion during three overnight stays on August 2, August 4 and August 6 for $92 a night, plus taxes and fees. Naturally, the $92 fee is a nod to the year he and his teammates became gold medalists.

Guests will kick off their stay with a virtual meet-and-greet at check-in, followed by fun on Pippen’s indoor basketball court, where his #33 jersey is emblazoned on the floor. Each stay is timed so guests can watch the Olympic Games basketball competitions from Pippen’s own home theater, from the group stage to the gold and silver medal games. They can also enjoy archival footage of Pippen’s historic win at Barcelona in 1992. And of course, guests will have exclusive access to Olympic memorabilia, including items from Team USA’s 2020 Medal Stand Collection.

In addition to playing a few games on Pippen’s home court, guests can relax outdoors by the pool, where there’s an outdoor television to catch every televised moment of the games in Tokyo. There’s also an arcade room, as well as an indoor sauna. The cuisine will be world-class too, of course. Guests can fuel up with some of Scottie’s preferred pre-game foods, like fresh fruits and veggies, as well as his usual dinner before a big game – steak, a baked potato and asparagus.

“Being able to represent the United States as an Olympian twice was an incredible honor as an athlete,” said Pippen in a statement. “Playing alongside the best of the best with Team USA will always be a career highlight for me, and I’m excited to host basketball fans at my home to witness the next generation of athletes performing at the top of their sport.“

There are certain COVID-19 guidelines in place, however. Those who request to book must currently live in the United States, and onsite staff will follow the Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines as well as Airbnb’s COVID-19 Safety Practices, which include wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and a five-step enhanced cleaning process. Airbnb is not responsible for paying for your travel to and from Chicago.

If Pippen isn’t your favorite player, there are also Online Experiences via Airbnb with his ‘92 Olympic teammates Larry Bird and Patrick Ewing. And there are 200+ other Olympian and Paralympian Online Experiences available for booking too. To explore these Experiences, visit airbnb.com/olympics

If you want to snag a spot at Pippen’s pad, booking for this stay begins July 22 at 1 p.m. EDT.
