Dim or Block Annoying LED Lights With These Stickers
Hey electronics manufacturers, we’ve got some beef with you about all the LED lights you embed into every one of your designs these days. One bright light in a room is bad enough, but these days a home entertainment center can sometimes light up as bright as Times Square. Our own wireless HDMI receiver glows a distracting blue when turned on (it needs to be in line of sight of the transmitter, so it’s situated up front and center).

10 Uses for Mason Jars
You have probably seen the mason jar lights, but have you seen a mason jar used for a terrarium? I remember my mom canning peaches in mason jars. Who would have ever guessed that they would become such a popular commodity for decorative purposes. I personally like the Mason Jars because of their nostalgia, light blue tinted glass, and their classic design. A few of my favorite uses for the Mason jars are the drink dispenser, terrarium, and the outdoor path light.

Make a Big Splash: Clear Glass Tub
Flipping through the latest issue of Boston Home, I was struck by the beauty of this “invisible” tub. Made from a thick sheet of glass inserted between the two tile walls, it’s so simple, yet I’ve never seen anything quite like it.Boston-based architecture & design firm Stern McCafferty created this custom bath based on an inspiration photo from owners Amy and Ethan d’Abelmont Burnes.

Renovation Idea: Make Your Own Built In Cutting Board
In the past we’ve talked about how to clean a built-in cutting board, but we’ve never really discussed the process of installing one. They always seem like something that just happens to be in your kitchen when you move in, but these homeowners installed their own and the method in which they did so is rather brilliant.Over at The Farm Chicks, they’ve turned what used to be a plain old cabinet drawer into a cutting board work station.

11 Non-Toxic Paints To Buy That Are as Safe as They Are Chic
Paint is one of those products many of us don’t think twice about, except when it comes to color.
