June, a thirty day month and day shorter than May, dropped less than expected, putting us in a good, sustained position to drive into our seasonal “up” months of July and August. Dear Team, This month, I want to share a different type of memo; one that is a nice fit for the peak of summer. First of all, I am not a particularly political person, am averse to partisan politics have no desire to every have the company dragged into the bar brawl that lives in our public space right now.

Summer is officially here! That means that everyone you know is going to start throwing a BBQ every weekend. There is something about grilled food on summer days that makes it taste so much better than during the spring, fall, and winter. Do you love the taste of a grilled hot dog, but don’t actually have space to grill at home? Not having a backyard can really stink during the summer months. Worry no more, the folks over at Mr. Useful have got a hack just for that.

Jon Snow and Ygritte finally got their happy ending – IRL that is. Any Game of Thrones fan knows that on the show, Ygritte did not get such a happy fate. And we have no idea what will happen to Jon, will he sit on the Iron Throne? Will he just be by Daenerys Targaryen’s side? We won’t know until the TV series concludes in 2019 (yeah, we’re not mad we’ve already waited one year and still have another to go).

As the baby boomers often like to point out, millennials aren’t buying homes, we’re renting. If you are already renting an apartment, townhouse, or renting in a single-family home, what else can you “rent” instead of buy? You can lease a car, obviously. Hell, you can lease purses and shoes, and even your entire wardrobe. Why not rent your furniture too? Anyone who has moved from one apartment to the next knows that moving furniture is a huge pain in the butt.
