Good Idea: Wooden Bathmat

Gone are the days of machine-washing dingy, matted rugs, only to find them dirty again just days later. The wooden bathmat can aerate and dry itself, and though it has a tendency to collect build-up underneath, it is relatively easy to clean up.

Instead of your typical third story walk-up, the couple rented an industrial garage previously used as studio space and turned it into home.
