Craft Book Review: Making of a Rag Doll by Jess Brown
Two months ago, I went on a plastic toy throwing rampage after receiving the news that my one-year-old daughter tested high on her lead screen (a false positive, thankfully). Stylish Convertibles: Cribs to Toddler Beds
Almost 5 years ago, when I began planning my son Alex’s nursery, I didn’t have a great vision of what I wanted his room to be beyond the crib stage. It also required the purchase of a conversion kit, so we opted for a full size bed and bypassed the toddler bed altogether.

How to Make a Cloud Nursery Mobile
I’ve had this idea for a cloud mobile tutorial for months now, but there was always something more pressing to do (I should clarify that, in most cases, neither the mobile nor the more pressing matter was accomplished). This was actually a very easy little project, I’m surprised to say. You never know, when you delve into something new, whether it will go as planned or end up in the unfinished pile in the corner of the closet (along with the partially knitted baby blanket).
