Whether your New Year’s resolution is to read more books or you’re already a seasoned member of #BookTok, a heart-shaped tote is quickly becoming the must-have new accessory for booklovers. TikTokers recently stumbled upon the now-viral coquette-inspired find at Barnes & Noble: a truly adorable red fabric heart-shaped tote.

The $19.99 tote is so popular that it’s already flying off shelves as people converge on their local store to try to find it.

Embroidered with the words “Book Lover” on the front, this adorable bag that’s designed by Paper Source is the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift for the bibliophile in your life (including yourself). While it’s hard to convince myself to add yet another sustainable tote to my burgeoning collection, this Barnes & Noble one is different.

It looks just like a giant Valentine’s Day card, thanks to its unique shape. It’s perfect for toting around my A Court of Thrones and Roses and Abby Jimenez novels from the library or the bookstore, but I can also use it to romanticize my grocery shopping trips or as a cute accessory when I’m out running errands with my friends.

According to TikToker @Erianne, the bag seems to have a sturdy waterproof-lining inside, plus its handmade aesthetic makes it look much more expensive than its $19.99 price.

In the comments section, many people revealed that they’d decided to break their no-spend resolutions early after seeing the adorable design, with one sharing, “If I get to Barnes & Noble today and they’re all gone, I’m gonna RIOT.”

Unfortunately, it’s now sold out online, and it sounds like many booklovers were struggling to find the design on the shelves of their local Barnes & Noble. However, it might be worth swinging by your closest store to see if there are any stragglers left.

If you’re out of luck, Barnes & Noble has some other similarly playful designs, like a $22.99 Re-Wrap “Spicy Romance Tote” that’s perfect for members of the Romance Readers Club. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s a hilarious $22.99 design for proud introverts, thanks to the Re-Wrap “Anti Social Tote” that has “meetings never” and tells passerby, “leave me alone: I’m reading.”
