Perfect Night In is a series where we ask actors, artists, entrepreneurs, and beyond how they’d spend the ultimate luxury—a blissful evening at home.

Brad Goreski knows a thing or two (or three or four) about fashion and the entertainment biz. He has a star-studded roster of celebrity clients and has made a name for himself in the television world, making appearances on “Project Runway” and “2 Broke Girls,” plus hosting his own show “It’s a Brad, Brad World” as well as co-hosting “Fashion Police.”

Goreski recently spread his love for clothing through a partnership with Febreze, where they collaborated on a “Ready to Rewear” runway show to promote the brand’s clothing odor eliminator. But when he’s not hustling, he has his husband Gary Janetti and three dogs to hang out with at home.

Speaking of home, we were wondering how the fashion expert unwinds in the comfort of his own pajamas. See below for how Goreski likes to spend his nights in, which includes a cozy robe that his entire household (dogs included) are down to get wrapped up in.

Set the Scene

Describe your perfect homebody scene: Dogs, TV, Gary, sweats.

Are you alone or with someone else? I’m with my husband and my three dogs.

What’s your night-in uniform? I’m usually wearing sweatpants, a vintage t-shirt, and UGGs.

What two people, dead or alive, would you let crash your night? I would invite Jennifer Lawrence and Rihanna.

Favorite cozy product: I love the robes from Target. My dogs love to sleep on them, too.

Now Playing

TV or a movie? TV. We binge-watch things.

What are you watching? “The Politician” and “Fleabag” season two.

Silence or music? Usually silence.

E-books or the real deal? Real deal.

What are you reading? I just finished Demi Moore’s book “Inside Out,” and I’m currently reading my husband’s book, “Do You Mind If I Cancel?”. It’s humorous personal essays.

Board games: yay or nay? Nay. I don’t play games on my phone either.

What’s Cooking

Order in or cook for yourself? Cook.

What are you eating? I make this thing called burrito-fajita bowl. It’s basically the inside of burrito mixed with the peppers in a bowl without the tortilla. It’s brown rice, black beans, sautéed peppers and onions, whatever spiced meat you want, and then we do cheese, salsa, avocado, and I do sour cream.

What drink are you pouring? I’m super into strawberry or cherry bubly, it’s so good. That’s basically all I drink at home.

What’s for dessert? I make apple crisp, almond cake, banana pudding, pies, chocolate chip banana bread. We also do a lot of ice cream. Salt & Straw is an artisan ice cream place and they have a sea salt with caramel ribbons ice cream, which is to die for, or Van Leeuwen honeycomb.

Take Care

Do you have a self-care ritual? I wash my face with either Barbara Sturm foaming cleanser or Joanna Vargas Vitamin C face wash. I use Joanna Vargas daily serum and Barbara Sturm blood cream with Nurse Jamie’s under-eye cream and usually Nurse Jamie’s face roller because it cools and relaxes the skin. Also, I’ll do a face iS Clinical hydro cool mask and I’ll sleep in that sometimes.

What do you try to avoid at all costs? Cell phones are always good to avoid, and fighting is the other thing. I would repel from those things.

Candles: yay or nay? (if yay, what’s your favorite?) Yay. Le Labo’s Santal is one that we use a lot.

Face masks: yay or nay? Big yay! I use the Twilight Mask by Joanna Vargas, Barbara Sturm’s face mask, I use the hydro cool face mask by iS Clinical, and I have the 111SKIN rose gold mask, which is really good.

Bubble bath: yay or nay? Nay. I don’t take baths.

Chores: yay or nay? Yay! We divide them up pretty evenly. I do the grocery shopping, which I love, and mostly food prep. We split kitchen duties; our kitchen is usually really, really clean. I don’t mind chores. I find them soothing, but not for long periods.

Thanks for chatting with us, Brad!
