Describe your space:
My partner and I are both visual artists, so color and composition are natural instinct to us. My partner, Mah, is more into the design element, focusing on shapes and color, while I am more into an earthy vibe, so the space is a perfect balance of us both—our love nest :). Our space is absolutely the smallest, coolest space because we put thought love into every detail and corner of our home.
Did you DIY anything in your space? And, if so, what's your favorite DIY?
We DIYed the LEGO horizontal artwork on top of our couch. We found the pieces of LEGO on the street that a local Fort Greene kid had left behind, my partner put the pieces together selectively, and voilà!, a cool/cheap/DIY, unique art piece!
What's your favorite product that you bought for your space and where did it come from?
The most special product in our home is the hanging tassels entering our bedroom. My mother brought this piece from the gypsies in Iran. It's the perfect example of my roots complementing Mah's design aesthetic.
What inspires you?
Anything and everything. We travel often and always, always buy home decor wherever we go, and make sure to bring unique pieces, from mugs to artwork.
