Describe your space:
My space is a reflection of my personal journey. It evolved as I have over the years. It has become a full expression of who I am, and my friends can attest to this. As my spiritual practice deepened through meditation and yoga, I made sure my home reflects the state that I strive to reach every single day: peaceful, meditative yet full of high vibrational energy. It's a personification of my identity—small but full of life. Like all things beautiful, meaningful, and special in life—the best things are never planned. It falls in place organically.
Did you DIY anything in your space? And, if so, what's your favorite DIY?
The closest thing to a DIY is my plant terrarium and my succulent garden with fairy lights that may or may not be inhabited by a miniature troll or two.
What's your favorite product that you bought for your space and where did it come from?
The Pari Rattan Chair from Anthropologie in my living room. It adds the right natural texture and flair in a room of vibrant colors and patterns. It always transports me back to my childhood: the feel of warm, tropical breeze and that carefree island life.
What inspires you?
New York City inspires me—the life and the people. Now more than ever, I am often reminded of why I moved to the city. Despite the current state of the world, my neighbors and fellow city dwellers never cease to amaze me. Their generosity, creativity, and thirst for life constantly inspire me and remind me what it means to be a fellow human being. New York is an everyday reminder that there is a bigger world out there. And that my problems, while valid, are minuscule in the grand scheme of things.
