Describe your space:
This is the first flat I’ve lived in without flatmates (besides my boyfriend, but he lets me decorate the flat as I wish), so it’s the first time ever that I could really decorate my own space! I tried making it colorful and adding unusual touches (vintage or hyper contemporary), and I do feel like it’s a reflection of my aesthetics. It’s still practical, and even though it’s tiny and has no garden/balcony, we filled it with plants to make it very homely and welcoming. Surprisingly, most are still alive.
Did you DIY anything in your space? And, if so, what's your favorite DIY?
The closest I got to a DIY is my art wall, which is all attached with command strips. I also did some of the art, I’m sure you can guess which items... but I’m especially proud of the dried flower frame—I picked them up at a square near our building.
What's your favorite product that you bought for your space and where did it come from?
My favorite thing in my apartment is my blue classical print coffee table. I found it on eBay for a bargain and have no idea who’s the maker or where it comes from, but I’ve never seen anything like it!
What inspires you?
The past, travel, unusual objects, shapes, and colors. I follow a lot of decor accounts on Instagram, and my favorites are the ones that reflect their owner’s personality. I’m also inspired by illustration and drawings, and I like to think my apartment could be the setting for a manga/anime!
