Why is your home the smallest, coolest space?
My home is my canvas. In the pandemic, my home became my reason to live. I had been laid off my job as a flight attendant. I had never spent a lot of time here, but now it was different. So every inch of my apartment became a DIY. Projects but with no money. I started stooping furniture and making it my own. It inspired my studies in interior design.
How does your home reflect you?
All the items in my apartment have a story. My TV stand is a tub bench from 1923 from my great-grandmother that I found in my parents basement. My hanging chair was on the porch at my grandfathers house. Then all the items I found on the stoop are so valuable to me because they were DIYs. I have a lot of attachment to my furniture. To some they're only objects, but to me, they're my roommates.
