Why is your home the smallest, coolest space?
This space has so much character. If I had to guess, I would say at least 85% of everything I own was either purchased secondhand, at a vintage or antique shop, or was made by a local artisan or friend. Each item tells a story. The architecture in itself is so unique. It was built by a painter, which is why it has such amazing natural light!
How does your home reflect you?
My family shopped mostly at thrift shops growing up, and as a kid, that used to embarrass me. Thinking back now, I just laugh. Finding unique items are some of my fondest memories — the day, who I was with, and what caught my eye about it. Visiting secondhand shops with my grandmother when I visit home is one of my favorite things to do now. I fully embrace that I come from such a thrifty family.
