To get an airplane seat with better legroom, you would typically have to pay more. But as it turns out, it can be done absolutely free.

TikTok user @zacharyburrabel has shared a travel hack that can find you flights with the most legroom. It’s quite easy: simply open your laptop and download the “Legrooms for Google Flights” extension on your Chrome browser. Once it’s added, you’ll then be able to compare different airlines and see how spacious (or cramped) their seats are.

In addition, Legrooms for Google Flights allows you to search carry-on restrictions, amenities, and whether or not a business class seat can lie flat or must sit upright.

As shown in the video, the prices for various flights could be the same but the amount of legroom differs. With the extension, you’ll be able to get more for your money at no extra cost.

The comments section agreed that this is a hack worth trying. “Omg I’m 6’5″ I need this,” said a follower.

From now on, there will be no need to sweet talk the gate agent into giving you an upgrade.
