How 2 Style Pros Add Boho Style on a Budget
Our heart belongs to boho: From the sunbaked hues and verdant greenery to the layered textiles and free-spirited touches, there’s nothing dreamier than this desert oasis style. Or easier: Creating a beautiful boho space is all about choosing soothing colors, eye-catching patterns, and comfy textures. One reason this style is so appealing is that it easily adapts to pieces you already own. No fuss, all fun!
So we asked two pros who live and breathe this dreamy, effortless style to show us how to bring more boho into their homes with help from Walmart. Yep, Walmart: With on-trend designs at reasonable prices, Walmart is about to become your favorite spot for affordable style. Check out what they found!
Kamille Magette
Interior stylist and mom of four Kamille Magette—aka @dreaming_of_decor—is known for creating crisp and playful spaces full of natural light, personality, and pink pink pink! We love to see her creativity at work, from pallet platform beds to well-placed, boldly-patterned wallpaper. (We also love the cameos by the family’s four cats.) Kamille is based in Arizona, so breezy desert vibes are a must. Luckily, Walmart agrees.
Kamille started with this gorgeous scalloped seat. With its velvet fabric and earthy terra cotta tone, it’s a great anchor piece. Next, she achieved peak boho texture with all the cushions: a plush throw pillow in metallic mustard, a tufted floor pillow that’s neutral but not at all boring, and a coppery cushion with eye-catching pleats. And we’d love this scalloped Himalayan salt wax warmer if it were just a pretty object—but it’s also an air purifier!
Tiffany Hahn
You’d be forgiven for being instantly obsessed with Tiffany Hahn’s style. As seen on her popular Instagram account @thehahnestdesign, this hip Austin, TX, mom of two has an exceptional eye for combining color, pattern, and texture. We love her knack for warmth plus quirk, from richly colored paints and upholsteries to miles of bookshelves and antique paintings: It’s like (virtually) hanging out in the coolest vintage shop in town.
So, we were pretty jazzed about her Walmart finds. We never thought we could be excited about a ceiling fan—until we saw the palm leaf blades on this tropical beauty. It’s a stunning installation in Tiffany’s space. She echoed the lines and material with slim wicker chairs like these, outdoor seats that do double-duty inside, piled with pillows. A Moroccan-inspired pouf adds extra coziness, and jewel-toned pendant lights impart a magic hour glow.
