This year, as we celebrate the holidays from the comfort of our own homes, we have the opportunity to make new memories and start new traditions. We’re going all out, creating cozy and festive spaces throughout our homes. And we’re leaving no surface bare, including our tabletops.

Gatherings will be smaller, but they can still be plenty festive. We plan to make our holiday tables feel elegant and special, incorporating trendy-yet-timeless decor from Garnet Hill. But holiday tablescapes aren’t just for big dinners; with the right pieces, you can set a festive table and dress it up or down all season long. We asked Rhonda Hallstrom of @hallstromhome to show us how it’s done.

A product designer, business coach, and creator, Rhonda is known for her warm visual inspiration and DIY spirit. We knew she’d have a beautiful take on a traditional holiday tablescape. With a little inspiration and some help from Garnet Hill, you can welcome a little more peace and comfort into your holiday home with festive, high-quality decor perfect for making spirits bright.

Rhonda gave her festive tablescape a classic aesthetic by mixing holiday greens and whites. She placed the Farmhouse Pottery Spruce Trees and Preserved Boxwood Garland along the center of the table for a look that’s simple yet sophisticated. Once the decorations are in place, it’s time to set a beautiful table, which Rhonda did with linens from the Relaxed Linen Stripe Table Collection and tableware including Sintra Stoneware Mugs, Pasta Bowls, and Sintra Stoneware Dinner Plates. With some smart mixing and matching, she can easily dress it up or down.

The table has always been a place for warmth and gathering, and this year is no exception. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee and crossword puzzle or sharing a festive holiday meal with your close family, adding a little extra holiday cheer to yours will keep spirits bright all season long.
