Name: Jane of Korla Home
Location: London, UK

I would call my style heritage-contemporary as I love mixing old and new. I have to have lots of colour in my home as it makes me happy. I don’t stick to any design ethic, I just trust my eye to create a well designed livable space – I have three kids so white everything wouldn’t work!

What I really love about my home is my sitting room. There is a real mix of design – the contemporary Anish Kapoor etchings above the ikea sofa with Korla cushions, a hand loomed blanket from Bhutan and a lamp that I found in an old market in Bangkok.

I find inspiration all around me. My father was an Architect so I think the geometric designs I have produced, and that are in my home, are from the influences of my childhood. Designers I would say have influenced my taste is David Hicks, Kelly Wearstler, Bridget Riley, and Sonia Delaunay.

Thanks, Jane!
