Designer and potter Jonathan Adler, known for his eponymous line of chic and clever home decor, is no stranger to a brand collaboration. But his latest collection with TilePix might be his most head-turning yet. That’s because the assortment of 15 different art prints — available in multiple sizes, unframed or framed (in different colors), cast in glass, wood, or resin material, and some rendered as splits across several tiles — is the easiest-ever way to score a high-end-looking gallery wall on a budget and without all the fuss.

Pieces hang using TilePix’s patented magnetic technology, so you don’t have to worry about damaging your walls with nails or hooks. The tiles are essentially finely-printed, oversized peel-and-stick magnets — you attach a thin, removable magnet-topped sticker to the wall that the art then “snaps” to.

When you remove the magnetic stickers, there’s no residue left behind on the wall, and you can reposition the pieces as well. The hardest part of installation may be deciding what TilePix you want to put where, and there’s plenty of variety to choose from when it comes to artwork (and you can even elevate your own photos to gallery prints, if you’d like!).

The new collection hits all the high notes and iconic motifs Adler’s known for, from Pop Art-esque lips and colorful pills to Op Art-inspired geometric loops, concentric squares, waves, and stylized swirls. Snakes, leopards, and florals are all options as well.

The only thing missing? Adler’s cheeky needlepoint pieces, which are so tactile, they maybe don’t quite translate into this kind of medium at the moment. But that’s okay. This over 400-year old handicraft is alive and well in his eponymous line with an assortment of pillows, including this Paris design.

In an interview before the launch of his exclusive collection, Adler told me that if he could only suggest one seasonal update — outside of artwork like his TilePix line, which he called a “renter’s dream” — he’d suggest pillows. “I am a huge fan of a pillowscape,” says Adler. “[Like art], pillows are also punctuation marks — they can change the whole look of a room.“ To that end, needlepoint resonates with him for its historic and handmade quality.

Prices for the Jonathan Adler x TilePix collection start at just $27.99 and range up to just over $1,000 for a very large multiple-paneled art piece. The collection is available at TilePix.com and at Walgreens.
