Levi’s Is Launching a Home Collection for Target, and Yes, There’s a Denim Chair
Target literally wrote the book on brand collaborations, so whenever the big box store announces a new partnership, it’s always exciting to see what they’ll come up with. Well, Target’s latest limited-edition collab, which launches in stores and online on Feb. 28, is actually an expansion of a now decade-long partnership with Levi Strauss & Co — yes, the denim company. This time around though, it’s not all about value jeans; instead, the brands created a 100-plus item lifestyle collection that will focus heavily on housewares, marking Levi’s first foray into the world of home decor.
The home portion of the collection will feature over 90 products, ranging from tabletop items like wine tumblers and carafes to furnishings like poufs, chairs, dog beds, and quilts (as seen below in the first and only promotional image of the collection available right now). Ceramic dinnerware, table linens, and aprons will be part of the assortment as well.
From a materials standpoint, denim will be present, of course, but sustainability is what’s truly at the core of the entire collection. To that end, designs will feature comfy, durable fabrics and finishes, including sherpa and even recycled glass. On the whole, this line also will have more sustainable certifications than any past Target limited-time-only design collaboration, including certifications from Fair Trade USA, GOODWEAVE, and FSC Wood.
Prices will start at $3, with a bulk of the items coming in at under $25. Mark your calendars for Feb. 28 now because if this collaboration is anything like those of the past, it’s likely to sell out fairly quickly both in store and online. With an emphasis on cozy fabrics, timeless silhouettes, and a classic blue-and-white palette, there’s reason to believe this new collection will offer something for every style of home.
