Lowe’s Has a New Home Decor Brand That You’d Never Expect from a Home Improvement Store
One of the biggest home improvement retailers in the U.S. has officially stepped up its game. While hardware and paint supplies may come to mind when you plan a trip to Lowe’s, the retail giant wants consumers to rethink how they view the brand. This year, Lowe’s introduced a new, modern home collection called Origin21, which offers furniture, stylish decor pieces, trendy light fixtures, and more.
Lowe’s created this line “for the stylish, trend-seeking millennial looking to modernize their home style” so it’s no surprise to see neutral-colored decor, sleek-lined furniture, and lots of greenery. While they still sell everything you need for all your DIY projects, now you can also shop for things like lamps, patio furniture, and knickknacks to style your shelves.
Not only is the launch surprising from a home improvement store, but the prices are reasonable, too. Where some retailers might charge over $600 for modern light fixtures, Lowe’s has some pretty stylish alternatives for less than $200.
From a style standpoint, the collection is organic, warm, and neutral. So if you like the modern, earthy aesthetic that’s hot right now, then this line is full of must-haves. (Don’t miss the patio egg chair, a favorite of Lowe’s executive vice president of global merchandising.) So if you want to refresh your outdoor space in time for spring, this new collection might be a great starting point.
The collection includes everything from fun throw pillows, rugs, and patio furniture to light fixtures, faucets, and faux plants. With over 400 items to choose from, prices range from $4.99 to $2,950 for an eight-piece patio set. All Origin21 products are available to shop online, with select items available in store.
