Violet Cakes is located in the Hackney neighborhood of London. If you’re a longtime Markle follower, then you’ll know that Meghan and Claire go way back; Back in the days when Meghan ran her now defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig (RIP), she interviewed Claire about her unique confections.
On Instagram, Ptak said that she and the soon-to-be-betrothed couple share “many of the same values regarding food provenance, sustainability, seasonality and of course, flavour!”
The big event goes down on May 19th, at St. George’s Chapel on the bucolic grounds of Windsor Castle.
