We first met Meaghan and Eric during a super busy time in their life, but busy is what family does best: Meaghan runs two businesses (a daycare and McNamara Design, an interiors and installations firm), they are raising two adorable munchkins, Hadley (2) and Emmett (1), and they’re getting ready for baby no. 3!

In all this happy chaos, Meaghan and Eric treasure their serene master bedroom, where the whole fam snuggles up for breakfast and a.m. cartoons. But their aging queen-sized mattress wasn’t the gem it used to be, and it was definitely way too small to squeeze in another kiddo for a SpongeBob marathon.

We hooked Meaghan and Eric up with the mattress pros at Serta, who are on a mission to help Americans declare peace and reclaim their bedroom by slowing down, relaxing, and getting comfortable. We thought this crew might feel a little more peaceful with a king-sized Serta iComfort® Blue Max 500 Elite Luxury Firm with Motion Custom II Base, since the ultra plush memory foam mattress keeps things cool and comfortable — even for pregnant sleepers — and the remote-operated motion base makes reclined viewing a breeze. So, did the bed deliver?

We think Meaghan approves: “Ahhhhhhh! I felt like I was in heaven!” she said.

Meaghan is getting deeper rest each night, helping her body recover from long days. She’s also taking advantage of the motion base to elevate her feet at the end of a long day.

“I haven’t slept better,” she said. “I seriously look forward to going to bed every night.”

The kids love it too — especially the remote-controlled motion base, which lets them get extra comfy for cartoons (and means they get to play with the settings!).

Now that they’ve got a better bed — and better sleep — Meaghan, Eric, & Co. are more rested, relaxed and ready to meet the busy days of summer: a packed daycare, exciting design projects, family vacations and, of course, a new baby.

“There is plenty of room for all of us now, and room to grow once number three comes,” she said.
