If you've ever tried to buy a sofa, chances are you've been shocked by how much they cost. Good-looking upholstered pieces can be very, very expensive. But the good news for those of us on a budget is that this isn't always the case. In fact, in making this list I was pleasantly surprised by the number of great options out there. All 12 of these stylish picks will set you back less than a grand, many of them under $800. Not too shabby.
Note: Although we'd love to test all these sofas for comfort, sometimes that's just not possible. Almost all of these sites offer reviews, so be sure to check those out, and, if you have any of the sofas pictured below, share your experience with us in the comments.
