Why we have a crush on this property:

Lace up your most slippery shoes and practice your roll: This California home comes with its own outdoor bowling lane situated on a scenic desert plot, and it’s topped off with a raised deck seating area where the rest of the team can look on in awe as you score a strike. That’s not the only striking (too much?) feature on the grounds, though. The property also has an in-ground pool, hot tub, pickleball court, and covered patio.

And that’s to say nothing of the three buildings on the premises. For one, there’s a 1,500-square-foot studio ready to be decked out as a personal space or business (the property is zoned for residential and commercial use, after all). It currently features vaulted ceilings, tall sliding glass doors, a pair of garage doors, a mechanic’s pit, and even a performance stage. Needless to say, the possibilities for the space are pretty endless. The second building is an 1,100-square-foot workshop that stretches across two stories — a shortage of space is not an issue this home has.

As for the main home? The bowling motif continues inside, where the floors were salvaged from a local alley. In line with that throwback theme, instead of the usual stainless steel suite, the appliances are all GE kitchen appliances sourced from the same 1984 catalog (peep the black mirror fridge).

The room also sports an indoor-outdoor dining area, thanks to a giant flip-out window that connects the kitchen to a covered patio with barstool and table seating. All around the home, groovy details like painted stripe and circle accents and eclectic wood paneling give off a casual, retro vibe. An unexpected silver screen bonus: You can spot the premises in all their glory in the upcoming movie “Man’s Son,” which used the property as a filming location.
