Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: We rent a brick ranch in Johnson City, Tennessee. It’s a three-bedroom, one-and-half bath. With our landlord’s permission, and some funding, we have made some updates to make it feel more like “our home.”

I am a mother and interior designer. I am always looking for ways to incorporate chic decor in kid-friendly ways.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Colorful, vintage, pattern-filled, cohesive, chic

What is your favorite room and why? Lately, it’s my daughters room. The color is so surprisingly soothing. We have all been found taking naps in there.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? A gallery wall of framed art I curated from Artfully Walls.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Invest in quality vintage furniture and support local, small business as much as possible. You will value these items far more than fast-furniture pieces, not to mention they will last longer and you will support our economy during this fragile time.
