Why we have a crush on this property

There’s something about scrolling through photos of a beautiful home that makes my eyes soften. Intricate fireplace mantels? Light fixtures that double as modern art? Plush bedding and clean white tiles? These are the kinds of features that make lounging on the couch browsing Instagram feel worth it.

A boutique inn in Wilmington, North Carolina, called Dreamers Welcome is an impossibly beautiful Instagram gallery come to life. The 1900s Victorian pairs antique handiwork with modern flair for one very chic experience. Now, the bed and breakfast is on the market, along with a separate single-family home in a nearby neighborhood. So, the almost $2 million package includes two fully-furnished properties for sale — and whoever buys them should be cut out for the life of a super stylish innkeeper.

It’s the seven-bedroom Victorian, though, that captured my heart right off the bat. Many of its common areas display a kind of graceful minimalism that can be tough to achieve in older homes, with a palette of pastels that highlights the home’s period features. But the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms kick it up a notch with bold wallpaper, wall-mounted neon lights, splashy art, sculptural furniture, and more.

As an added bonus, the exterior of the home boasts some lovely, flower-filled gardens, not to mention a covered front porch with columns and a swing. The dreamy manse and bungalow are listed by Jeffrey Hovis and Kirstin Behn with Intracoastal Realty Corp for $1,945,000. (h/t I Know a Spot)
