Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I bought this flat just under two years ago and was desperately ready to finally put my stamp on a place after years of renting.

I basically knew right away what I wanted to do, and that I wanted books and art that I love to be right at the heart of the aesthetic.

I was really keen on white floors and walls, with all the color coming from plants, books, art, and personal photos.

What is your favorite room and why? It has to be the living room. It gets lots of light and I love sharing the space with all my books. I’d always wanted that.

Although I must say, this is my first apartment, having previously lived in a studio, so that feeling of going to another room and closing my door to go to bed was very special in the first few weeks! I always feel safe here.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last thing I bought was a poster for a Chris Ware exhibition I went to at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. It was only 8 euros and every time I look at it I am reinspired by this amazing artist.

Any advice for creating a home you love? For me it was all about thinking about the things that I love. What do I want to surround myself with? What makes me happy? What sort of space do I need? Take time, try things. Move things about and trust your own eye. You want to be happy wherever your eye rests!
