Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I work as a freelance writer and also run a lifestyle blog, Amtisstory, mostly about home decor and wellness tips (and also a large amount of Netflix reviews!). I was born in France but I’m half Vietnamese, half Moroccan.

This rug brought many years ago by my father's family is very special to me, because of its history, and because it is very good quality wool, entirely handmade.

My parents’ culture is very important to me and I’ve tried to incorporate some features in my apartment. I’ve been living in Paris for six years, including three years in this beautiful studio apartment. It is located in my favorite Paris area: the 11th arrondissement, so vibrant and inspiring for me.

My bedroom area, tiny but sweet.

What is your favorite room and why? It is technically one big room, and honestly I love it all. It is truly my home sweet home, which I was very thankful for during the lockdown.

My entryway, filled with three closets (which is quite rare in Paris).

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? Actually it’s been a long time since I didn’t buy anything for my home. I’m a huge fan of DIY: knitting, crocheting, macrame… I did many items such as coasters or wall decor myself. I think it brings something very personal and unique!

I tried my best to bring sweetness and personality to the most basic kitchen.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Take your time for furniture, but listen to your heart for home decor accessories. Sometimes we take too much time thinking about style, and we end up without doing anything. So, if there’s a piece of decor like a pillow or a frame that you truly love and makes you smile, go for it!
