Emily Born has rented this 400-square-foot studio apartment in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood for one year and describes her home: My boyfriend, his dog, and I all live in our tiny Chelsea studio, but we love it.
Our decorating has a huge emphasis on function, and we’ve worked to create separate spaces in the studio.
We have an office nook that I love, and we’ve been able to create a room for both of us to work from home — although my boyfriend sometimes takes calls from the bathtub!
What is your favorite room and why? The office nook. It’s such a cozy space and a huge bonus in a studio.
