Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: This is my first solo home. I was very excited to design a space that was all mine. I initially thought I was going to go with a neutral earthy palette. But in the end I stuck to who I am and went with lots of pink. I know this will be home for a while, so I wanted to make it all my own and put in my signature, which is lots of bright colors hot pink, neon green, and cobalt blue. I’m still a kid at heart, and I have some collectible things from my favorite characters. You’ll also see a few plushies around. I can’t help it — they’re cute!

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Bright, youthful, mid century, eclectic

What is your favorite room and why? My living room! It’s so bright and colorful that it has an energetic feel but is still worthy of many lazy afternoons. I can’t wait to host friends in a post-COVID time.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last item I bought was a tray from Mellow for my coffee table.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Plan! When creating my home, I made a note on my phone and added images of all the things I liked while browsing online, which allowed me to see what flowed together and what didn’t. Be true to your taste and not just what trends are going around.
