Why we have a crush on this property

One look at the outside of this mid-century style home for sale in Knoxville and you might already be sold: charcoal gray paint, a spacious deck, and a patio softly lit by string lights. What’s not to like?

But boy, is there a surprise waiting on the inside — one in the form of a water feature. In the home’s very ‘70s living room, a small river flows beside the picture window. (Imagine hearing it trickling during movie night?) A few plants add to the faux natural feel, while a stone fireplace and wood-paneled walls give the room a little extra texture.

The home’s galley kitchen, meanwhile, has maintained its retro charms with dark wood cabinets and globe lights. The nearby dining room offers a view of the yard through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, while a long wood-paneled hallway leads to a bar with a bright-orange Smeg fridge.

Three sizable bedrooms offer equally lush views, and the two full bathrooms come outfitted with walk-in tiled showers. An additional family room, plus plenty of space for a home office or gym, complete this neatly packaged abode.
