This New York Rental Apartment Has an Incredibly Unique (and Ginormous!) Feature
Brandon Corcione’s two-bedroom, 700-square-foot apartment in a walk-up building in Long Island City has amazing views and 13-foot tall ceilings. But the main feature is a “huge brick wall with a hand-painted advertisement for an old market that used to be in our neighborhood,” he begins.

“Part of the advertisement is cut off, but it says ‘Groceries, Flour, and Feed.’ This is hands down one of the most unique features I’ve seen in an apartment in New York City. It’s one of those special features that no one else can replicate,” Brandon continues.
Brandon has rented this corner unit for three years, and the six tall windows, with both southern and western exposure, offer views of the Empire State Building and the East River. “[T]he apartment is always sun-drenched,” he writes.
