Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: A small family of three, we love our little NYC apartment. Originally from Miami, we used to live in a larger townhouse but opted to prioritize a new adventure and lifestyle in a new city.

Overall we love to travel and host people when we’re in town. We’re big fans of a roomy interior with lots of light and space to stretch, not to mention a kitchen that’s big enough to cook in and store my grandmother’s vintage Corningware.

We identify as very easygoing and fun, which I feel you can see through the use of pattern and color in the space, and our beanbag (which has actually become a bed for Dixie, our dog).

We also love a good party, which you can see by looking at our full bar equipped with a record player and vinyl collection.

Lastly, we also consider ourselves practical; every piece of furniture serves a purpose in our apartment and helps us stay organized and provides storage (like our TV stand and drawer storage under our platform bed). We also have a locker in our bedroom that we store our linens in, which we love!

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or fewer: Bohemian mid-century luxe.

What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room has to be the living room/kitchen. It’s the room we spend the most time in and really enjoy because we can play with Dixie, have a game night, or even do some exercise in.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? Our wallpaper and magnetic fridge spice rack — both from Amazon!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Build it little by little; the best pieces aren’t found all at once. Also think outside of the box — furniture and art can be used whichever way and wherever. Make it work for you!
