Even from the outside, this 1920s construction is not your classic brick house. Double front doors and two sets of huge windows flanking the entryway elevate the curb appeal and hint at a pre-residential history. In fact, the home was originally built as a lyceum for the Pawtucket Spiritual Progressives, and over the years evolved into a shoe store and antiques gallery. Should you ever feel like leaving home, the address is a quick stroll to Downtown Pawtucket Historic District, a 15-minute drive from Providence, and less than an hour to Boston.
