Recently moving back to North America from Tokyo, we needed to create a space where we had enough room to live, but still kept with the Japanese feeling of efficient space. We settled on a great two bedroom in River West, with an extraordinary view of the city.

What we love most about being in North America is the ease and convenience of everything. Every item in our house was new, and every item was ordered online and delivered to our doorstep. The entire project was done, from beginning to end, in six weeks. Combined with Taskrabbit and other services, everything was done while we were working. The only thing we brought from our old life (in Canada) was our art and our books.

The wallpaper was a touch from a good friend’s company, NewWall, and even though we are only renting, we felt it was important to have at least one big feature wall.
