A Light Filled LA Loft
Name: Ashley
Location: Downtown — Los Angeles, California
Welcome to our sunny and spacious downtown home located in the in the heart of Downtown LA’s Historic Core. Inside you’ll find a 1,300 square foot bi-level ground unit with loft (only three of its kind!) that offers an unparalleled, refined industrial, modern aesthetic.
There’s lots of natural light, which we love! We have an expansive living room, charming dining room, a chalkboard wall, and a breakfast bar. Our bedroom loft is big enough to fit a California king.
There’s marble flooring on the first floor, concrete on the second floor, exposed brick throughout, huge east facing windows, 18′ ceilings and refinished original wood and crown molding. The unit also includes a swinging garage-style back door that opens up to a private, gated alley.
The Old Bank District’s Rowan Loft has been a Luxury Downtown Favorite of the Historic Core since the building’s revamp in 2008. The 1912 building was designed by John Parkinson, who with his son was also responsible for City Hall and the LA Memorial Coliseum. The Old Bank District, which The Rowan Building calls home, was once ground zero of the DTLA gentrification and a highly-desirable filming location for its historic building faces.
Thanks, Ashley!
