Leaves, apples, fireplaces roaring, chilly walks in cute sweaters – right now is the perfect season for weekend getaways. While I most definitely won’t be escaping to anywhere wonderful this weekend (lots of laundry is in my future!) I thought we could all take a little mental break and at least pretend we’re as lucky as Huck, who sent me in these photos…

Huck writes: Handsome Hollow is a late 19th Century Farmhouse that was built in a beautiful, secluded location, but the place was a shambles. We spent 12 years carefully restoring the house back to its original details and then reimagined the decor in a clean, contemporary way.
