As soon as Alejo and Francisco saw this 1940s-era house, they knew it was just what they were looking for: a place they could redesign in their own style for both living and working. Alejo Petrucci is an architect and designer specializing in furniture design. He works in commercial architecture, interior, as well as equipment design, and show staging. Apartment Therapy Survey:

Our Style: Warm, relaxed, contemporary, not minimal

Inspiration: Wood architecture from different origins

Favorite Element: All our plants! We are plant lovers and collectors, and love having different species.

Biggest Challenge: Combining both the home and the workplace harmoniously, considering it is not a newly-built house and we had to adapt to the previous construction.

Proudest DIY: Since we are both designers most of the house and furniture can be considered DIY! Impossible to choose only one!!

Biggest Indulgence: Having breakfast on the sunny terrace every day

Best Advice: Being patient

What’s your best home secret? Having an attic… where we can enjoy chaos!
