On Oct. 21, Vogue’s “73 Questions With Adele” went live, and viewers were treated to a look inside the singer’s Los Angeles home. Although, when inside, it looks less like a typical LA abode and more like a cozy cottage somewhere in the English countryside.

“[I’ve learned] just how much of a homebody I am,” the “Easy On Me” singer told Vogue regarding the challenging past year. “And I probably would never leave my house if I didn’t need to.”

Living in such a dreamy home, it’s easy to understand why Adele wouldn’t want to leave.

“I tried to make it feel like a little English countryside,” she said of her combined kitchen, dining, and living area. Within the space, Adele has matched her stormy blue cabinetry to her couch and armchair, her area rug, and even her Le Creuset Sauteuse, which she has in the color Sea Salt. And to drive home that cozy cottage feel, Adele has leaned more traditional in her decor pieces. She uses antique-inspired lighting, caned dining chairs, and mixes up her wood tones to create a curated, collected-over-time feel.

But one thing you won’t find in any other English countryside-inspired home is Adele’s “proudest possession” — a piece of chewing gum gifted to her by James Corden that came right from Celine Dion’s mouth. “He made her spit out her gum into a piece of paper and framed it for me,” Adele said of Corden, who did a “Carpool  Karaoke” segment with Dion in 2019.

Adele’s home is warm, inviting, and evokes a kind of nostalgia that really makes you feel something, just like the singer herself and her repertoire — including her new album which is set to drop in November.
