What we might love most about Airbnb‘s existence is the astounding variety of stays travelers can now experience. If you can dream up a lodging scenario—anything from a treehouse to a mansion—you can likely find it on Airbnb. And yes, that includes the former homes of celebrities.

There’s no denying the allure of being physically present in a space that one of your heroes once called home. With that in mind, we’ve selected a few for your reference—from musical geniuses like Jimi Hendrix to acting legends like Julie Andrews. Here’s your inspiration to take your next adventure!

1. Jimi Hendrix (Maui, Hawaii)

In the 1970s, it’s said that Jimi Hendrix stayed in this Hawaii cottage long-term while filming Rainbow Bridge. The Maui cottage couldn’t be more adorable, but adding a little Rock ‘n’ Roll history to the mix enhances the aesthetic in a way we like.

2. F. Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald (Montgomery, AL)

Embodying the who’s who during America’s jazz age, this iconic couple that once shared a home in Montgomery, Alabama. The house is a gorgeous Southern charmer with a two-bedroom apartment dubbed The Zelda Suite, which is available to rent via Airbnb. This listing is a wonderful option for anyone, but with Fitzgerald-ian touches throughout, it’s a must-stay for die-hard fans.

Word on the street is that it once belonged to Julie Andrews, but the listing doesn’t focus on that. Surrounded by rock-walled acreage, this spot called The Rubber House looks like a dreamy retreat that’s both of a storybook and modern.
