Fall is coming, which means leaves will soon start to change color, which means leaf peeping and all the wonderful autumn activities are fast approaching. The vacation rental company has teamed up with MINI USA to not only provide tiny house getaways that follow CDC guidelines, but also rental cars to go with the deal to see all the surrounding foliage your heart desires. One of the micro homes is located outside of New York City while the other is outside of Los Angeles, granting those living in urban areas the opportunity to escape to the outdoors at an (extremely) affordable price.

The first tiny house is in Marlboro, NY, which is a 90-minute ride from NYC—far enough to feel like you’ve left the city, but not too far where you can’t easily get there and back. It comes with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, with a rustic exterior that complements the interior outfitted in light wood.

The second listing is located in Twentynine Palms, CA, home to the iconic Joshua Tree National Park and roughly 2 hours outside of Los Angeles. This tiny house is described as a minimalist corten steel structure and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath that comfortably accommodates two guests but can fit up to four (hello, pull-out couch). 

In order to snag one of these $1 stays, head to either Airbnb tiny home listings on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. PT to book your mini getaway for Nov. 6, Nov. 12, or Dec. 4 of 2020. First come, first serve!
