Aldi Is Selling a “Perfect” Dupe for a Beach Bag That’s 5x the Price
Pool season has finally arrived in some places, and having a bag that can withstand sun and rogue splashes is key to having a good pool day. If you’re searching for a new bag, you’ll love this latest Aldi find. The beloved budget-friendly retailer is selling a dupe of the popular beach tote from the company Bogg Bag. While you’ll have to shell out $90 for the original Bogg Bag, you can snag a nearly identical tote at the popular grocery chain for only $22.99.
TikTok content creator Alyssa (@aldi_finds4u) shouted out the find during a recent video first published on May 21. In the video, she takes shoppers through the latest limited-edition Aldi Finds home goods they can’t pass up.
“I definitely think these will sell fast,” she says, panning over a selection of pink, purple, teal, and orange bags, which feature sturdy straps for easy transportation and ventilation holes to keep your wet pool and beach gear dry. The holes also double as a very sneaky way to keep sand out of your bag so you don’t carry it back into the car or (shudders) back inside the house. “The size on these are really good,” Alyssa says.
If the comments on Alyssa’s video are any indication, she’s right — this bag is about to fly off of Aldi’s shelves.
“Definitely getting the bag omg!” one TikToker commented. “I need a good pool bag.”
“Yes! I bought the Bogg bag last year and it’s the best!” another commenter wrote. “I keep it in the car as a catch-all. I need those bags now!”
Unfortunately, the bags aren’t currently available on Aldi’s shopping website, so you’ll have to head to your local Aldi to search for them.
