With summer just a few months away it’s the perfect time to be outside in your backyard or patio garden, spending quality time with family and friends — maybe even starting a fire as the heat of the day cools off, preferably with some s’mores. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a huge outdoor space to enjoy a fire pit (or the s’mores). What you do need, however, is a small-space-inspired fire pit that’s a fit for smaller patios and decks.

And if you’re looking for an option that has all that and won’t break the bank, then you want to get to Aldi ASAP because the store is selling an outdoor steel fire bowl for just $39.99.

Aldi’s fire bowl measures 25.5” x 21.6” x 13”, and its small dimensions make it the perfect size for a backyard centerpiece. This fire bowl, made by the brand Belavi, Aldi’s gardening and patio collection, is made with black powder-coated steel and comes with a heat protection plate for maximum safety. Even though it’s an ingenious solution for small spaces, it’s not made for indoor use.

If you don’t have time to stop by your nearest Aldi store to pick up the fire bowl in person, you can find it on Aldi’s shopping website, where it’s available for pickup or delivery.

But if you’re not an Aldi shopper, Amazon is selling a more traditional-looking fire pit that’ll make s’mores just as well as the bowl from Aldi.

The Amazon fire pit comes in two sizes: 22-inch or 29-inch. The 22-inch pit measures 22″D x 22″W x 20″H and is on sale for $48.99, but Amazon is offering a 10% coupon that will help bring the price down a bit closer to what you’d pay at Aldi.

One reviewer called the Amazon fire pit “perfect for small fires,” writing: “We use this on our back patio and it holds up well using smaller logs. The fire gets hot, while staying manageable. It is lightweight so we can easily move it when needed.”

Whichever option you choose, you’ll be set with an affordable, compact fire pit to enjoy for months to come.
