Aldi Is Selling a Pumpkin Casserole Dish, and It’s Under $15
Halloween is almost here, which means everyone’s getting dressed up for the season — and by everyone, that includes your kitchenware.
Aldi has come out with a casserole dish that’s perfect for spooky dinner parties: one that’s made to look like a pumpkin. The item features two designs, an orange version with a bronze metallic stem for a handle, and the other, a white version with a gold metallic stem.
The stoneware hot pot is as useful as it is charming. You can use it to cook recipes like pumpkin soup and squash pasta, or simply put it out on display as an autumn-themed centerpiece, impressing your family and friends at this year’s dinner party.
Even better, Aldi is selling the dishes cheaper than other brands. The large two-quart version is priced at $14.99, while the smaller one (.8 quart or a two-pack of .4-quarts) costs $9.99. In comparison, a similar design from STAUB comes with a $34.95 price tag.
The gourds have a scratchproof glaze, are stain-resistant and easy-to-clean. Take note that only the base is oven safe (up to 450 °F or 232 °C), and that the lid should only be used for decorative purposes.
As always, you’ll need to hurry to an Aldi store near you. The casserole dish collection is part of the company’s Weekly Specials, which means the items will only be available for a limited time or while stocks last.
